TL;DR
Luka Doncic has achieved a remarkable feat by averaging at least 32 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists in three seasons, which is three times more than Michael Jordan. Despite an injury ending his 2025-26 regular season, Doncic's stats have solidified his place in NBA history.

Luka Doncic has had quite the special NBA career so far.
He may have ended the 2025-26 regular season with an injury, but the stats he put up for the entire campaign have helped him make some history ahead of even Michael Jordan.
Doncic finished the season averaging 33.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists.
It's his third season of averaging at least 32, 7 and 7.

Even LeBron James never did this, not quite getting his scoring average high enough at any point.
It's hard to average that many points and get that many assists, but Doncic is special.
In 2022-23 with the Mavericks, he had 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game.
And then in 2023-24, Doncic averaged 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 9.8 assists in an absurd season for the Mavs.
MJ achieved this feat before he ever had a wing: In 1988-89, he put up 32.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game. He never averaged seven rebounds or assists in a game for a season ever again.
Yes, this is a bit of cherry-picking of stats. But it does show how remarkable Doncic is.
If the Lakers can get him healthy before they're knocked out of the playoffs, he could lead them a long way.
