We've spent time getting to know the Cincinnati Bengals' draft picks a little better with this mini-series. We'll wrap up this series with a look at the Bengals' No. 226 overall selection in the 2026 NFL Draft, Navy defensive tackle Landon Robinson.
As usual, we'll allow Dane Brugler's The Beast draft guide to help with providing facts and background information on these players. Let's take a look at the Navy Midshipman.
Robinson gets to play in the state he grew up in, though he's closer to Cleveland than he is Cincinnati. Robinson grew up in Fairlawn, Ohio, outside of Akron. He attended Copley High School, where he was an all-state linebacker as a senior and also lettered in baseball, football, track and wrestling.
One of the top annual lists each year in college football is Bruce Feldman's "Freaks List", highlighting some of the top athletes in college football. Players typically make the list once, maybe twice. Robinson made the list three times.
As Brugler notes, Robinson has recorded a 665-pound squat, 465-pound bench press and 350-pound power clean. Not bad for a 293-pound defensive tackle.

Here were some of his Pro Day numbers and the percentiles of each:
Robinson is an undersized defensive tackle at 5-feet-11 and 293 pounds. Someone else who was considered undersized? Some guy named Aaron Donald, who will end up in Canton in a few years.
Is Robinson a clone of Donald? Of course not. But he has followed Donald's career closely and has modeled his game after the future Hall of Famer.
From Navy football's website: "Landon is obsessed with getting better. More than anybody, he loves watching film. He can't get enough of watching Aaron Donald," said Jerrick Hall*,* Navy's defensive line coach. "He loves tackling the little things that go with playing on the defensive line, like when to be more patient before shedding a block. He's all about details, sharpening tools."
Robinson is considered a tweener because of his size, but his athleticism and desire is going to make him fun to watch. And who knows, maybe the Bengals found themselves the next great small defensive tackle.
