Las Vegas Raiders draft picks, grades for selections in NFL Draft

The Las Vegas Raiders will add their QB of the future and present at No. 1 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.

First-year coach Klint Kubiak's tenure will be directly tied to Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza, who was selected with the first pick of the draft.

The Raiders also have needs along the offensive line and all across the defense. Vegas could also consider a receiver with an early-round selection.

1st round, No. 1 overall | Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana

• Instant grade: B
• Analysis: Like Cam Ward last year, Mendoza isn't a out-of-the-park prospect at 1.1. But there's a lot to like. He can win with arm talent and accuracy outside the numbers, and he can withstand punishment and grow into a game from contact. He needs to improve his command over the middle of the field, and his athleticism doesn't wow. Otherwise, Mendoza's floor is high.
