They’ve been linked to many top prospects, including Ty Simpson, but he’s going to have to fall to the Cardinals at No. 34 overall for them to take him. The Arizona Cardinals moved on from Kyler Murray, and now they have to get the QB position right. They leaned on Jacoby Brissett, and he could be their bridge QB in 2026 while Drew Allar learns as a rookie. Allar and Brissett are both bigger QBs at over 6-4, 225 pounds each.

Allar has mechanical issues that need to be worked through, similar to what Josh Allen did when he first came to the NFL, but his traits are worth banking on alone.

Allar’s final season came to an unfortunate end after breaking his ankle in October, but he’s back to throwing the ball and impressed at the NFL Scouting Combine. He’s still projected to go anywhere from No. 100 overall to No. 150 overall, so the Cardinals can take him with their No. 104 overall pick in the fourth round if they want him.
