Leeds United Are Keeping A Keen Eye On This Wolves Defender: Should Farke Get Him On Board?
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, journalist Pete O’Rourke claimed that Leeds United are keeping a keen eye on Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ladislav Krejci, who is currently playing on loan from Girona. O’Rourke said,
“There’ll be lot of clubs looking at some of the players at Wolves following their relegation from their Premier League.
“They hope they can lure them away and offer them the chance to stay in the top flight.
“Bueno has done okay for Wolves this season, he’s played more this season than he has done since his arrival at Molineux in 2023 and he’s impressed.
“Leeds have been linked with Ladislav Krejci as well, his Wolves teammate, so it’s an area of the squad that Daniel Farke really wants to improve in.
“Especially if they’re going to continue with three centre-backs, because the formation has been a revelation for Leeds, they’re going to have to add options.
“That’s why Bueno is one of the players they’re looking at, and Krejci as well.”
Krejci has enjoyed a good run of form at the West Midlands club as he has produced a string of impressive displays for them in the Premier League. The 27-year-old has scored two goals and secured one assist in 26 matches for Wolves this season across all competitions.
Leeds United are interested in Ladislav Krejci due to his potential to strengthen their squad following Wolves' relegation from the Premier League.
Ladislav Krejci is currently on loan at Wolves from Girona, which may impact his availability for transfer.
Several clubs are looking to acquire players from Wolverhampton Wanderers following their relegation, aiming to offer them opportunities to remain in the top flight.

The Czech Republic talent has got some valuable experience in the Premier League under his belt. Thus, it is no wonder that Leeds United are hoping to get a deal over the line for him later this year.
Krejci loves a tackle and can time his challenges well to secure possession back for his team on the defensive end of the pitch. He doesn’t mind clearing the danger when required and excels at playing his way out from the back.
The Czech Republic sensation can use his strong 1.91m frame to win a few important aerial duels for his team. He is primarily a centre-back but can also play as a defensive midfielder if required.
We can expect Krejci to add more bite and steel to Leeds boss Daniel Farke’s defence. He is good enough to challenge for regular first-team football at Elland Road next season.
At 27, Krejci is about to enter his prime, which makes him a decent option for the Whites to consider this summer. All in all, Farke would be wise to get him on board soon.
