Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, journalist Pete OāRourke mentioned that Leeds United have set their sights on Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor. OāRourke said,
āI think thereāll be a lot of clubs looking at Isidor, potentially for a move away in the summer. Heās dropped down the pecking order at the Stadium of Light this season.
āThere was a bit of interest in Isidor from other clubs in the January window, but Sunderland didnāt want to let him go as they wanted to keep hold of their core squad and make sure they secured Premier League safety.
āIt might now be in his best interests for Isidor to seek a move away in the summer if he wants to be playing regularly. Leeds may be one of the clubs that look at (signing) him.ā
Isidor is having a decent campaign at the Wearside club as he has put in a run of productive displays for them in the final third. The 25-year-old has banged in five goals in 34 matches for the Black Cats this season across various competitions.
