The Los Angeles Rams have not yet selected a wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft, despite ongoing interest. General manager Les Snead confirmed that they are considering a receiver with nearly every pick as they move forward in the draft.
After two days, the Los Angeles Rams have yet to select a wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft. This offseason, much of the media coverage was about their failed attempt to acquire A.J. Brown and their relationships with the top pass catchers in the draft, especially after the franchise attempted to trade up for Tetairoa McMillan and Emeka Egbuka last season.
All of those potential prospects have been plucked by other squads, leaving the situation in a state of uncertainty. Following their Day 2 selections, head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead spoke about their decision not to draft a receiver so far and what their process looks like heading into Saturday.
Snead stated that there will be a possibility that the Rams draft a receiver, saying they could consider a receiver with just about every pick.
"Yeah, definitely know that," he said of the need to address wideout. "So, probably every pick we go to, there's a receiver we could pick, but I think we were intentional."
McVay added they have confidence in their current receiver room of Davante Adams, Puka Nacua, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield, and Xavier Smith, while also acknowledging there were receivers they liked on Friday who got picked before them.
The Rams have not drafted a wide receiver yet due to their intentional strategy and the unavailability of their targeted prospects.
The Rams showed interest in wide receivers Tetairoa McMillan and Emeka Egbuka, but both were selected by other teams.
Les Snead indicated that the Rams could consider drafting a receiver with nearly every pick they have left in the draft.

"There was receivers that we had like for that that were there today that were part of the discussions, and sometimes, the other teams kind of end up making some of those decisions for you," McVay said.
"But it is important, but we've also got some guys that are going to get better," he continued. "You know, Jordan Whittington, he's going to continue to get better. You look at Mumpfield, he's going to continue to get better. Xavier Smith, these guys are the way they approach it, they're going to continue to improve. We obviously know that, you know, our pass game is going to be heavily revolved around Puka and Davante, but that is something that we definitely have talked about and we'll see if that comes to fruition tomorrow."
The Rams are clearly leaving their options open, taking each selection as it comes. As a result of the trade for Trent McDuffie, the Rams only have four remaining selections: one in the sixth round and three in the seventh. The Rams have drafted QB Ty Simpson, TE Max Klare, and OL Keagen Trost so far.
