Arne Slot has revealed that he expects Mohamed Salah to play for Liverpool again before the season draws to a close. Salah picked up an injury during the Reds' 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League last weekend, sparking concerns that the Egyptian may have made his final appearance for the club.
Salah will depart Liverpool at the end of the season, with the Reds now having just four Premier League games remaining, beginning with an away trip to Manchester United this weekend.
The 33-year-old will not be available for the visit to Old Trafford on Sunday, but Liverpool will be hoping to have the forward fit for their remaining games.

Slot has also offered an update on Salah's condition, stating that he expects the forward to return to action before the season comes to a close, as per The Mirror.
"As we know for Mo, he is always working hard when he is fit and when he is injured to be back," Slot said on Friday. "He is usually fitter than others, so we expect him back for the final part of the season. Not for tomorrow.
"It is always a big relief that his injury is minor to play for us and the World Cup. Any time a player who deserved a send-off, it's great news."
Salah has experienced a challenging season at Liverpool, netting 12 goals across all competitions, with just seven of those coming in the Premier League.
The injury Salah sustained against Palace last weekend led to the forward being withdrawn and receiving a standing ovation from the Liverpool supporters at Anfield as he departed the field.
Liverpool subsequently confirmed that they anticipate Salah to return before the season concludes.
"Liverpool FC can confirm Mohamed Salah is expected to be available to play again before the end of this season," the statement from Liverpool read.
"The No.11 was substituted during the second half of last Saturday's Premier League win over Crystal Palace at Anfield. The issue that caused his withdrawal has now been confirmed as a minor muscle injury.
"It is, however, anticipated Salah will return to action ahead of 2025-26's conclusion and his departure from the Reds this summer."
Liverpool are fighting to secure UEFA Champions League qualification and are fourth in the Premier League ahead of their game against United.

The Reds hold an eight-point cushion over Brighton and Hove Albion in sixth, who sit outside the Champions League qualification places, with four games remaining.
Following their game against United, Liverpool will meet Chelsea (May 9), Aston Villa (May 17), and Brentford (May 24) to close out the season.
