The Greek, who has only one assist in 24 appearances and has performed below expectations, has failed to impress Gian Piero Gasperini, and upon the expiration of his loan from Liverpool, he will return to England.

There is no desire at Trigoria to negotiate a contract extension with the Reds, and this summer the Roman club will once again press the market in search of a player suitable for the Grugliasco-based manager.

According to Greek portal Sport24, Liverpool have already informed Tsimikas that he will return to England in June. However, the situation regarding his possible continued tenure with Arne Slot, born in 1996, is still unclear.

The Greek would return to the role of backup to Milos Kerkez, but the English club is exploring other options for the left flank.

And if the Reds decide to make a move for a more reliable option, the current Roma number 12 will have to find a new home. The only certainty, therefore, is his imminent departure from the capital.
