When the Detroit Pistons begin their postseason playoffs on Sunday, basketball fans are in for a treat, with new items like Korean corn dogs, seasoned fries and items created by a local food influencer at Little Caesars Arena.
Inspired by Detroit flavors, the new food items and other exclusive playoff merch were announced on Wednesday, April 15, by the Detroit Pistons and Delaware North Sportservice – LCA’s food and beverage partner.

For the first time, Delaware North Sportservice said they teamed up with a local fan on food. Its chef collaborated with Eric Hambleton of St. Clair Shores, a local food influencer known as Eric Loves Cooking on social platforms. Hambleton created two beefy options, a smash burger and a deli steak sandwich, that will be available at the new Detroit Street Lab at Portal 28. The Detroit Street Lab is a nod to Detroit’s street food culture and designed for “speed, flavor and creativity.”
Hambleton told the Free Press it's exciting that his creations are “going to be served at the arena to thousands of people.”

“I am proud of myself,” Hambleton said. “I put a lot of work into creating interesting content. It’s amazing to have an opportunity like this and work with people who support and believe in me.”
Eric’s Motor City Crisp, he said, pays homage to Detroit-style pizza, hence the brick cheese, but without traditional pizza sauce and pepperoni, and topped with a cheese crisp. Eric’s Deli Steak Sandwich resembles a deli roast beef.
Available across the arena are the seasoned fries called the “All The time Fry,” topped with All The Time Spice Blend, All The Time Sauce and fresh scallions. You can find it at The Coop at Portals 18 and 19.
Served in a souvenir sneaker cup is the “Full Court Press Sundae,” with vanilla ice cream topped with red or blue soda, sprinkles and a Pistons-branded topper, served in a souvenir sneaker cup. It’s available at The Scoop at Portals 18 and 19.
The Playoff Run-ning Taco at Portal 26 is an elevated take on the walking taco. It’s touted as a shareable item with your choice of proteins, cheeses and toppings served in an extra-large bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos>
