Now, providing the latest update on his condition, journalist Santi Ovalle on Carrusel reports that Lamineâs injury is not looking good.
The teenage sensation showed up at the clubâs training facilities earlier today to undergo medical tests, and as per the update, it is now confirmed that he has a tear in his hamstring, with the extent of it still to be determined.

Either way, the journalist states that Lamine is âvery hurtâ and as things stand, it âdoes not look goodâ for the youngster.
While an official update is still awaited, a recovery period of between four and six weeks could be confirmed for Lamine, meaning his participation in the remainder of the season would be in jeopardy.
Not only that, but it would also put his spot in the Spain squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup at risk.
Lamine, once again, has been Barcelonaâs most influential player this season, already racking up a very impressive tally of 24 goals and 18 assists from 45 matches across all competitions.
Not having him for the rest of the season will be a major blow for Barcelona.
