That season stands as the most illustrious chapter in Manchester City’s history, defined by the club’s first ever UEFA Champions League crown that cemented their place among football’s all-time elite.

But now, as per a report from MailSport, one anonymous Manchester City player or staff member is set to auction off their medal collection from the historic 2022/23 season as part of the Made In Manchester Live auction, due to take place on April 28.
The set includes the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League winners’ medals, with the former coming in its original box, and the reverse including the inscription ‘Champions 2022/23’.
The Champions League medal also features an inscription and ribbon, while the FA Cup medal has a ribbon and its original fitted case, all alongside the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup winners’ medals.
Budds have confirmed the medals are an official set, while the vendor has chosen to remain anonymous, while the opening bid has been listed as £30,000 ahead of the live auction and an expectation that the medals could earn between £50,000 to £80,000.
Manchester City will be hoping that their latest crop of players and staff can secure themselves plenty of winners’ medals this season, as they remain in the hunt for a domestic Treble in the final weeks of the campaign.
