Barcelona are keen to extend Marcus Rashford's loan spell from Manchester United into a second season. This would seemingly suit Rashford, who would supposedly prefer to remain with the Spanish giants rather than return to Old Trafford in the summer.
It is understood Barça have tabled the proposal to United, who are deliberating over whether to sanction a second loan arrangement.
The two clubs had agreed on a £26 million ($35 million) fee for Rashford, though Barça had made an unsuccessful attempt to renegotiate the price. United have been standing firm on the clause, which remains active until June 15, as per The Mirror.

Rashford would like his future resolved before linking up with England for this summer's FIFA World Cup, provided he earns a place in Thomas Tuchel's squad.
It is understood that both clubs will recommence discussions at the conclusion of the season, unless an agreement can be reached beforehand.
One potential obstacle is the fact that Rashford's wages will rise to £315,000-a-week ($425,261) should United secure UEFA Champions League qualification.
Barça have been covering his contract in full, and United would expect this to continue should another loan deal be struck. It appears probable that Rashford will pursue his career with Barça.
United are desperately seeking to trim the club's wage bill this summer, with Casemiro and Jadon Sancho both set to depart.
This would save United in excess of £500,000-a-week ($675,018), and co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has little appetite to welcome Rashford back onto the books.
Rashford has been reveling in his time at Barcelona since arriving on loan at the beginning of the season. He has supposedly rekindled his passion for the game, recaptured some of his finest form, and forced his way back into the England team.
The 28-year-old has contributed 12 goals and 13 assists, helping the Catalan giants establish a six-point cushion over fierce rivals Real Madrid at the summit of La Liga.
