Bisping did not hold back when addressing comments aimed at Pereira’s shape during his preparation period.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, the 47-year-old Englishman said: “All these people online that are talking s— about Alex Pereira’s physique, what have they accomplished? What have they achieved? What have they done with their lives? Nothing. And I guarantee, they’re all fat b—— as well.”
The former champion’s defence highlights the respect Pereira commands within the sport, especially given his success across multiple weight classes.
People trust his preparation methods, as he has a proven CV within the promotion.
Pereira has already addressed concerns about his current shape.
During a video published Thursday on his YouTube channel, ‘Poatan’ stated that he intends to cut weight before the fight to enter the cage “like a machine”.
