Mike Tyson gushes over ‘real’ Donald Trump

Ultra-Trump fan Mike Tyson has joined a growing list of retired sports stars to gush over how President Donald Trump is a great hang.

The 59-year-old legendary boxer appeared on Fox News’ Jesse Waters Primetime to sing Trump’s praises.

“He looked beautiful, happy, enjoying the people… I can’t even explain his mood! We’ve never seen any president like this before,” Tyson said.

“My whole experience with President Trump is that he’s just a genuine, real person. If he got your back, he’s with you 100%,” he said later. “That’s why I’m with him 100%. He’s never been nothin’ but for me.”

Tyson has become a vocal supporter for Trump and his administration during the 79-year-old Trump’s second term. During the Super Bowl, he appeared in a commercial paid for by the MAHA Center, an advocacy group aligned with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Shortly after, he appeared alongside Kennedy Jr. at a press conference to stand against obesity.

Tyson’s point that Trump has always been “100% behind” him rings true.

After Tyson was convicted of rape in 1992, Trump defended him and argued he shouldn’t face jail time.

“I’m totally opposed to obviously what happened. I’m a very strong believer in harsh punishment,” Trump said at the time. “But we think it’s probably, in this particular case, a lot more good can be done by having Mike Tyson pay a substantial award both to the victim subject to court approval and creating a ward for people that were abused or raped in the state of Indiana.”
