NBA star Miles Bridges has been granted a temporary restraining order against his ex-partner, Mychelle Johnson, after alleging a series of incidents that included cyberstalking, harassment, and an alleged attempt to tamper with his tires during a recent Charlotte Hornets game.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a North Carolina judge ordered Johnson to remain at least 500 yards away from Bridges, his home, and Hornets facilities while also prohibiting her from contacting or harassing him, his girlfriend, or members of his legal team.
The filing outlines several allegations that Bridges says escalated in recent weeks. Among them, the NBA player claims Johnson arrived at the Spectrum Center while intoxicated after leaving their four children with a nanny, booked a nearby hotel room, and positioned someone in the arena lobby before allegedly hiding near Bridgesâ vehicle in an attempt to damage its tires while he was playing.
Bridges said his girlfriend, Shara, and children were expected to travel in the vehicle that night, adding in the filing that Johnson âknew those children had ridden in that vehicleâ and âdid not care.â
The latest court battle adds another chapter to a highly public and deeply contentious relationship that has followed Bridges throughout much of his NBA career. The Charlotte Hornets forward has remained under intense scrutiny since 2022, when Johnson publicly accused him of physically assaulting her in front of their children.

Photos posted to social media at the time appeared to show visible injuries, including bruising and a broken nose. Bridges later pleaded no contest to a felony charge of injuring a childâs parent and received probation, mandatory counseling, parenting classes, and a 10-year protective order as part of a plea agreement.
In the newly filed petition, Bridges accused Johnson of launching what he described as âa deliberate campaign of terror.â He also alleged she used fake phone numbers to send threatening messages containing his home address and contacted his attorney while posing as another woman who claimed to be pregnant by the NBA player.
According to the filing, Bridgesâ legal team initially treated the claim seriously enough to arrange a paternity test before determining it was allegedly part of the harassment campaign.
The ongoing legal turmoil has repeatedly intersected with Bridgesâ basketball career. The NBA suspended him for 30 games in 2023 following the domestic violence case, with part of the suspension carrying into the 2023â24 season. Bridges later said he received therapy and counseling during his absence from the league.
The Hornets forward returned to the court amid continued public debate surrounding both the leagueâs handling of the situation and his standing within the franchise.
Johnson has not publicly responded to the most recent restraining order filing as of this writing.
