IndyCar's Grand Prix of Arlington is back on March 21, 2027!
Arrowhead swept the 2026 Myrhum Invitational track meet, winning both the girls and boys team titles. The girls secured their fourth consecutive title, while the boys won by just one point over Homestead.
Milwaukee-area standouts from the 2026 Myrhum Invitational track meet
The 2026 Myrhum Invitational team titles were swept by host Arrowhead on Saturday, May 9.
The event, which is considered one of the stateâs best meets throughout the outdoor season, saw the Warhawks dominate and capture their fourth straight girls team title in a row and the fifth in the last six years of the meet. The boys squeaked past Homestead with 54 total points for their third straight team title at the meet, winning the championship by a single point over the Highlanders and six points over third-place Wisconsin Lutheran.

The girls team title was won by Arrowhead, marking their fourth consecutive victory at the event.
The boys team competition was very close, with Arrowhead winning by just one point over Homestead.
The Myrhum Invitational is considered one of the best track meets in Wisconsin's outdoor season, showcasing top talent from the area.
Arrowhead has won the girls team title five times in the last six years and the boys team title three times in a row.

Mukwonago senior Laela Presendofer was a triple champion, winning the 100- and 200-meter titles while also running the anchor leg on Mukwonagoâs winning 4x200 relay team. Presendofer ran a new best time in the 100 (:11.95), breaking her own school record she recently set by .09 seconds. She narrowly clipped Arrowheadâs Avery Bott by .03 seconds in the 200 final (:24.17) and also helped Mukwonago set a meet record in the 4x200 with a time of 1:38.98.
Arrowheadâs team total got a huge boost from Payton Eicher, who finished sixth in the 100, second in the long jump and won the triple jump competition. Eicher also ran a leg on the 4x100 relay team that set a Myrhum record with a time of 47.07 seconds. Elise Schroeder also ran a leg on the winning 4x100 relay team and won the pole vault competition with a best leap of 13-6. That vault is also the new benchmark in the pole vault across the state this outdoor season. The Warhawks also had three of the top four finishers in the vault with Emily Corteen and Elise Long taking third and fourth place, respectively, after they each cleared 11-6.
West Bend Westâs Rylee Faehling set the top time across the state in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 42.25 seconds, beating the field by over 3.5 seconds, while Slinger wheelchair competitor Lucy Rate won four titles in the 100, 400, 1,600 and the shot put.
Arrowhead got 20 points from junior sprinter Trey Resch, who set Myrhum records in the 100 (:10.53) and the 200 (:21.15). Reschâs times in the 100 and 200 also became the top times across the state in those two events.
Homestead senior Jay Tally completed the 800/1,600 title double for the Highlanders with a time of 1:55.60 in the 800. He won the mile earlier in the day with a time of 4:15.88. New Berlin Eisenhowerâs Javaryn Love completed his own title double in the 400 and then running the anchor leg on Ikeâs winning 4x400 relay team. Love won the individual 400 title with a time of 48.79 seconds.
Nicoletâs triple jump duo of Donavin Bond and Demian Harris went 1-2 in the competition with Bondâs best jump capturing the title at 46-2. Harris finished as the runner-up with a best leap of 45-1.5.
Shorewoodâs 4x800 relay team of Ben Bejma, William Nagle, Ryan Lien and Ryan Optekar won the competition and set a top statewide time in the event with a mark of 7:55.46.
Wisconsin Lutheranâs Niyer Clayborn broke the Myrhum record to win the 110 hurdles title with a time of 13.70 seconds. Clayborn was also on his way to the 300-meter hurdle title for the sweep, but appeared to suffer a right leg injury at the finish line for a runner-up finish to Sussex Hamilton junior Tristan Haigh by four one-thousandths of a second (38.953 to 38.957).
