Nate Diaz and Daniel Cormier seem to have moved past their recent spat.
It started in January when Ben Askren said Nate Diaz was ânever good,â and Daniel Cormier, despite first standing up for Diaz, eventually agreed with Askren during an episode of their âFunky and the Champâ show.
A couple of months later, Diaz hit back at Cormier during Theo Vonâs podcast. He mocked the former two-weight UFC champion for crying after losing to Jon Jones and claimed that Cormier âcouldnât fight for sâ.â

Things have been quiet since April when Daniel Cormier called Nate Diaz âaverageâ and mocked his 13 MMA losses.
On Tuesday, Ariel Helwani played peacemaker between the two UFC legends. During an interview with Diaz, he FaceTimed Cormier to help them hash things out.
The exchange was a bit awkward, but it seemed to do the trick. Both appeared ready to move past their differences.
Helwani opened by saying, âI wanted to mend the fences with this guy,â pointing his phone at Diaz.
Cormier replied, âI ainât got no problem with Nate Diaz.â
âI donât understand, but I like it when Nate Diaz goes crazy on me. Itâs more views for my YouTube channel.â
âI have no problem with Nate. I really donât, honestly. But I talk for a living.â
Diazâs first response hinted that he wasnât quite over it yet.
âThatâs Ben Askren that likes to talk about you,â Cormier replied.
