The city has made recent upgrades to the City Park Disc Golf Course, including the installation of new baskets, according to an announcement issued by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce.
“Bringing the 303 Open to Pueblo City Park DGC, in 2026, only seems fitting. City Park DGC is the oldest 18-hole disc golf course in the state of Colorado, originating in 1978. With the help of Pueblo City Parks and Rec, the course has gotten a complete update of new course equipment in time for this year’s event,” said Kyle Maute, Disc Golf tournament director.

Visit Pueblo’s Sports Council is re-entering the disc golf arena, bringing competitive play back to a course with deep roots in the sport.
The effort aims to reestablish Pueblo as a premier destination for disc golf in the Colorado community, according to the announcement.
The event is expected to draw approximately 150 amateur disc golfers, along with their families and supporters, to Pueblo for a minimum two-night stay. This influx of visitors is anticipated to generate a strong economic impact for local businesses, hotels, restaurants and attractions during May.
In the announcement, Visit Pueblo extended its gratitude to Pueblo Parks and Recreation for their partnership in making the event possible and for their dedication to maintaining high-quality recreational spaces.
