The NCAA Knoxville Regional softball tournament starts Friday with Tennessee facing Northern Kentucky at 5:30 p.m. EDT, followed by Virginia against Indiana at 8 p.m. EDT.

No. 7 national seed Tennessee (42-10) will host the NCAA Tournament Knoxville Regional at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
The Knoxville Regional will begin Friday with No. 1 seed Tennessee versus No. 4 seed Northern Kentucky (26-23). First pitch between the Lady Vols and Norse is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. EDT.
No. 2 seed Virginia (38-13) will also face No. 3 seed Indiana (42-14) on Friday. The contest will take place at 8 p.m. EDT.
The winner of the Knoxville Regional will advance to play the winner of the Athens Regional, hosted by No. 10 national seed Georgia (38-18). The Bulldogs will host College of Charleston, UNC Greensboro and Clemson in regional play.

4:30 p.m. EDT – Game 7 (if necessary)
Tennessee plays against Northern Kentucky at 5:30 p.m. EDT.
The teams are Tennessee, Northern Kentucky, Virginia, and Indiana.
The Virginia vs Indiana game is scheduled for 8 p.m. EDT on Friday.
