76ers-Knicks: Series keys, schedule and prediction for Round 2 heavyweight fight
Knicks and 76ers clash in Round 2 of the 2026 NBA playoffs. Who will advance?
Nelly Korda, the world No. 1 golfer, has won her last two LPGA events. She will next compete at the Kroger Queen City Championship from May 14-17.
After putting together the two most dominant victories of her career, Nelly Korda will take a break.
The world No. 1 won't be in action at this week's Mizuho Americas Open in New Jersey, the event hosted by Michelle Wie West. Instead, she'll put the clubs away for a few days at home in Florida and head to her favorite heated yoga class.
She returns to action May 14-17 at the Kroger Queen City Championship in Cincinnati. Then she'll skip the ShopRite LPGA and head to the U.S. Women's Open at Riviera.
Korda has yet to finish outside the top 2 in six starts this season. She won her last two events, the Chevron Championship and Riviera Maya Open by five and four shots, respectively. Before that, her largest margin of victory on the LPGA was three strokes.
Now an 18-time winner on the LPGA, Korda is no stranger to impressive streaks, having won five in a row in 2024.
Korda gives much thought to her schedule. It's unusual compared to most, the way she takes off six weeks in the middle of the spring season. But right now, it's hard to argue the method.
Her decision to skip the JM Eagle LA Championship ahead of the Chevron Championship, avoiding a redeye and getting in valuable practice time before early-week storms, paid off handsomely.
Last December at the PNC Championship, Korda said somewhere between 18 and 20 events is her perfect number. She won't play more than three weeks in a row.
"I've seen my body deteriorate over that, and I kind of get into the zone of possibly getting injured," she said.
"That's the one thing that I have learned this year or throughout my career is just like, okay, where is my max, right? It's OK to push it, but you want to kind of be freshest in some periods of the season. Like that middle part the season gets compacted with a lot of events and flying, so you really want to make sure you're giving yourself a break, you're fresh going into those.
"I mean, golf is already tough mentally, and then flying cross country, you know, traveling by yourself, sleeping in a different bed, I'm getting to the age where I'm feeling that now."
