It certainly seems like Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be under center in the first year with new head coach Mike McCarthy. However, for those saying that the Steelers organization secretly knows where his head is at, new wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. disagrees.
Coming by way of the Indianapolis Colts just last month, Pittman doesnât know much about Pittsburgh -- including who will be throwing him the football.
âI think Aaronâs close to making a decision. But then again, I donât know,â Pittman told Yahoo Sports. âI havenât talked to him in a couple weeks. Weâre all waiting to figure out with the rest of you.
âPeople think we know. We know nothing.â
Pittmanâs Friday was jam-packed with media appearances, as he went on NFL Networkâs âGood Morning Footballâ that same day to discuss his quarterbackâs future.

âYou guys gotta understand, Aaronâs gonna do what he wants,â Pittman said. âI donât think that I could convince him any other way because obviously, Aaron has done more than just about any other NFL player in the league.
âIf heâs ready to come back, then heâll come back.â
Coming off a season in which Rodgers threw for more yards than the reigning Super Bowl MVP, Jalen Hurts, there shouldnât be a question about whether or not he is still capable of performing at a high level.
