Notre Dame football, baseball adds Titus Hawk to 2027 recruiting class

Choctaw junior Titus Hawk announced his commitment to Notre Dame for both football and baseball on Monday.

He chose the Irish after receiving more than a dozen offers from several Division I programs, including Oklahoma State, where his father and Choctaw baseball coach Shane Hawk played baseball.

Titus is ranked No. 4 on The Oklahoman's initial Super 30 rankings of the state's top college football recruits in the 2027 recruiting class.

He is a four-star recruit, the nation's No. 20-ranked tight end in his class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

The 6-foot-7, 210-pound junior chose Notre Dame over the likes of Alabama, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, OU, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M, among others.

Hawk emerged to become one of the state's top targets during the 2025 season. He recorded 31 catches for 644 yards and eight touchdowns to guide Choctaw back to the Class 6A-II state title game.

Hawk will also play baseball at Notre Dame. He had a .392 batting average, four home runs and 33 RBIs last season.
