With big goals, big milestones, and big saves, matchweek six of the 2026 NWSL season did not disappoint.
Here are our top moments from the weekend:
This weekend, the Portland Thorns extended their lead at the top of the table with a 2-0 win over the Chicago Stars. Attacking midfielder Olivia Moultrie had a role in both goals, scoring one and assisting the other.
The 20-year-old became the youngest player in league history to reach 100 regular season appearances and the 13th player to score in this milestone match.
The expansion sides faced off for the first time this weekend as the Boston Legacy hosted the Denver Summit. The Swans overcame a 2-1 deficit with goals in the 90th and 90+4 to earn their first win of the season.
The Orlando Pride hosted the Washington Spirit on Saturday, and by halftime two players already had a brace to their name.
Spirit forward Sofia Cantore scored the fastest brace from the start of a match in league history.
Olivia Moultrie scored in her 100th regular season appearance during Matchweek 6.
Aissata Traore played for Boston Legacy FC in Matchweek 6.

And Orlando striker Barbra Banda responded with a brace of her own, cementing her spot at the top of the Golden Boot race.
Trinity Rodman scored her third goal in as many games and recorded two assists against the Orlando Pride on Saturday, making her the third and youngest player to reach 30 goals and 20 assists for a single club.
The Kansas City Current are back in the win column with goals from Croix Bethune and Michelle Cooper in a 2-1 victory over the North Carolina Courage.
This match was also the Current’s first win away from home this season.
Bay FC won their third game of the season with a 1-0 victory over the San Diego Wave. Goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz came up big to save a penalty kick and preserve her team’s lead.
She had six saves and earned her first clean sheet of the season.
Silkowitz has now saved three of the four penalties she’s faced in her NWSL career.
