The Juventus Summer Tour powered by Jeep has been further enhanced with the addition of a new leg, complementing the previously announced tour stop in Perth. The Clubâs participation in the Hong Kong Football Festival (HKFF) 2026 was officially unveiled today during the launch press conference, attended by Juventus Legend Edgar Davids.
The Hong Kong Football Festival (HKFF) 2026 is a major international football event that will bring together four of the worldâs most renowned clubs: Manchester City, Inter, Chelsea and Juventus. The tournament will take place at the new Kai Tak Stadium, a state-of-the-art venue with a capacity of 50,000 spectators. Juventus will compete for the Herbalgy Trophy on Wednesday, 5 August 2026, facing Chelsea in a match expected to attract significant sporting and media interest across the Asian region.
The Juventus Summer Tour powered by Jeep represents a strategic opportunity for Juventus to strengthen engagement with its growing fan base while enhancing the Clubâs commercial footprint. The Tour will offer increased visibility and bespoke activations for partners, with particular attention to Ganten, which is entering its tenth year of partnership with Juventus. Furthermore, Juventusâ participation in the HKFF event will also support the growth and regional visibility of Juventusâ global partners, including Jeep, adidas, Cygames, EA Sports and Visit Detroit. Now that makes three friendlies within a week. Combine that with the fact that Juventus usually play their final friendly the weekend before the new season kicks off, and that is basically the summer schedule pretty much wrapped up. Itâs certainly looking like different competition than weâre sometimes used to, with Inter and Palermo on the schedule. Outside of when they have competed in the International Champions Cup in recent years in the United States, Juventus havenât met much opposition from England, let alone one of the big six clubs from the Premier League. (Although, itâs looking a lot like Chelsea will be without Champions League football next season â and this is being written after their loss to Brighton on Tuesday, which extended a run they havenât seen take place at the club in over 100 years. So, yeah, things are great in London right now.) With these three friendlies, we now have a pretty good idea of how Luciano Spalletti will try and ramp things up with his squad ahead of kickoff in late August. And theyâll be doing it quite a ways from Italy â which is a stark contrast to what theyâve done the previous couple of summers outside of the Club World Cup.
