The website and app that allows players to find courses, navigate the holes and connect with other players has released its 2026 rankings for the 10 best disc golf courses in Ohio, as well as the 100 best in the nation and world. And two of Ohio's courses rank among the best in the world.
Ohio State Parks, part of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, took to social media on May 5 to tout that three of the top 10 courses in Ohio are in the state park systems. "With 432 courses statewide, that’s another huge win for our award-winning state park system and the players who love these landscapes," the agency wrote.

The top 10 disc golf courses in Ohio for 2026, based on course ratings from players on UDisc, include four ranked nationally and two ranked worldwide:
- Echo Valley at Hoffmann Reserve, Waynesville. The course roughly 40 miles northeast of Cincinnati also ranks No. 25 in the United States and No. 42 in the world.
- Caesar Ford Park: Championship, Xenia. This course roughly 16 miles east of Dayton also landed at No. 62 in the U.S. and No. 89 in the world
- Eagle Ridge, Coshocton. Also ranked No. 73 in the U.S.
- Punderson Disc Golf Course, Newbury. This course at Punderson State Park, about 26 miles east of Cleveland, also came in at No. 78 in the United States.
- Findley State Park, Wellington
- Reazin Family DGC at Sycamore Trails Park, Miamisburg
- Mt. Airy, Cincinnati
- Lobdell Reserve, Alexandria
- The Grassman at West Branch State Park, Ravenna

Disc golf a growing sport, with more courses opening, more players each year
According to the Disc Golf Growth Report 2026 using data from UDisc, annual disc golf participation has grown 86% since 2020, with 21.2 million rounds recorded by the app.
Likewise, disc golf courses are increasing. The report states that 1,138 courses were added worldwide in 2025, bringing the total to 17,287. That's up from a total of 10,396 in 2020. The U.S. alone has 11,165 courses. And, 89% of disc golf courses are free to play.
