Ohio State and Cincinnati football teams are engaging in a playful rivalry over their black jerseys. Ohio State announced their updated 'Tunnel Vision' all-black jerseys for 2026, prompting Cincinnati to showcase their own black jerseys on social media.

After the Buckeyes announced updated versions of their "Tunnel Vision" all-black jerseys would return in 2026, the University of Cincinnati football team posted a photo of their own black jerseys on May 12, which are worn at a majority of the Bearcats' home games.
"The best black uniform in football," read the post caption on X.
An hour later, the Ohio State football account posted a tweet of the new black jerseys, with a similar caption as the Cincinnati post.

After introducing the "Tunnel Vision" jerseys back in 2015, the Buckeyes last wore the all-black jerseys in a 2022 victory over Wisconsin.
Oklahoma State also got in on the online banter, posting a photo of their black jerseys.
"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery," said the caption, replying to the Bearcats football post.
