Oklahoma Sooners have secured a commitment from former 5-star prospect Keeley Parks, who previously played for the Kansas Jayhawks. Parks, a two-time Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year, averaged 5.1 points per game in her freshman season and will join the Sooners' lineup alongside another top recruit, Aaliyah Chavez.
Jennie Baranczyk and the Oklahoma Sooners made their first transfer portal addition of the offseason, earning a commitment from Kansas Jayhawks guard Keeley Parks.
Out of Norman, Oklahoma, Parks was a former five-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class and ranked as the No. 17 player in the cycle according to 247Sports. She was a two-time Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year and had offers from Oklahoma, Kansas, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Baylor, North Carolina, Colorado, Duke, Florida, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kentucky, LSU, Louisville, Missouri, NC State, Ohio State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech.
Parks just finished her true freshman season with the Jayhawks and averaged 5.1 points per game and 1.1 assists. She played in just 16 games last season. She had five games last season with eight or more points for the Jayhawks. She shot 36.6 percent from the field last year and 33.3% from three. 20 of her 30 field goals last season were from beyond the arc.
She'll have the opportunity to join the Oklahoma Sooners starting lineup, replacing Peyton Verhulst, and play alongside another five-star prospect in the 2025 cycle, Aaliyah Chavez.
