The Oregon Ducks are projected to have five players selected in PFF's 2027 NFL mock draft, continuing their streak of first-round picks since 2020. This could significantly boost their total of first-round selections over the past seven years.
Since the 2020 NFL Draft, the Oregon Ducks have produced a first-round pick in each draft. After sending two players to the next level in the first round of the previous two drafts, the Ducks have totaled nine players in the opening round in their seven-year streak.
Next year, not only could the Ducks make history in the first round, but they could also produce over half of that seven-year total in just one go.
Pro Football Focus put out its way-too-early 2027 NFL mock draft, which features a bevy of Ducks within the first 32 selections. Five of Oregon's stars for the upcoming season crack the early draft projections as the Ducks hope to contend for the College Football Playoff once again and the program's first national championship in the fall.

PFF's Daire Carragher projects Oregon quarterback Dante Moore to be the first Duck off the board in 2027, as many have expected since he returned to school for another run in Eugene. However, Moore isn't the first pick, nor the first passer taken in the mock draft. Ohio State's duo of quarterback Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith go No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, before Moore lands at No. 3 with the . , and Moore could reunite with his former target in the Big Apple.

"(Moore) led the FBS in big-time throws (30) last season, while Sadiq recorded 30 first-down receptions," Carragher wrote. "While incredibly gifted, Moore will need to develop his often erratic decision-making to warrant a top-five selection — he threw 10 interceptions last year, some stemming from nine turnover-worthy plays over his final seven outings."

As Moore reunites with his former TE1, the Ducks could produce the top tight end in back-to-back drafts, as Jamari Johnson is the first tight end selected in the mock draft, going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at No. 14 overall. After transferring to Oregon from Louisville, Johnson flourished in his first season with the Ducks as the second tight end, hauling in 32 catches for 510 yards and three touchdowns. His 6-foot-5, 257-pound frame is much bigger than Sadiq's, and his size makes him a coveted receiver and blocker at the next level.
"The Buccaneers passed on an Oregon tight end this year, as the greater need and better value came with Miami’s Rueben Bain Jr," Carragher wrote. "They could return to the position next year and select Johnson, who outperformed Sadiq last season. Johnson is a more traditional in-line tight end but still brings top-end speed. He averaged 9.1 yards after the catch last season, compared to Sadiq’s 4.9."

The third Duck off the board is edge rusher Matayo Uiagalelei, who turned down the draft to return to Eugene alongside the rest of the Oregon defensive front. Uiagalelei winds up at pick No. 24 with the Kansas City Chiefs as a powerful rusher in the AFC West. In his junior season with the Ducks, he registered 52 pressures and six sacks after leading the Big Ten with 10.5 sacks in 2024.
"The Chiefs traded up into the top 10 this year, but not for a pass rusher as many projected before the draft," Carragher wrote. "Their need at the position next year will hinge on the rookie success of second-round pick R. Mason Thomas. Uiagalelei recorded 52 pressures last season and returns to lead what is projected to be the top defensive line in college football."

Oregon's trenches rule the back half of the first round in PFF's mock draft, as the Los Angeles Chargers pick center Iapani Laloulu with the No. 28 pick. By the time next year's draft rolls around, Laloulu will have been a four-year starter for the Ducks with experience at guard. The man the Ducks call "Poncho" has only allowed one sack in his Oregon career. He's the second center off the board in this mock draft, following Iowa's Cade Pieper, but he could easily become the top interior lineman in the class when all is said and done.
"Laloulu will enter the league as a four-year starter for a blue-blood program with experience at all three interior positions," Carragher wrote. "He has allowed just one career sack and played his best football in 2024 en route to winning a Big Ten title with Oregon."
Oregon defensive lineman A'Mauri Washington celebrates a sack as the Oregon Ducks host the Indiana Hoosiers Oct. 11, 2025, at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.
Finally, just one pick later, defensive tackle A'Mauri Washington becomes the fifth Duck selected in the first round. going No. 29 overall to the Baltimore Ravens. Washington has suffocated opposing rushing attacks during his time in Eugene and fully broke out last season as a starter. He improved his work as an interior pass rusher with 22 pressures and 1.5 sacks last season, but Washington is focused on finishing more plays this season. If he does, he could go even earlier.
"Washington can play either 1-technique or 3-technique," Carragher wrote. "If he improves his finishing ability — a 22% career missed-tackle rate — he could be considered an early first-round pick. He also logged snaps at fullback last season."
Five Ducks in the first round of the 2027 NFL Draft would lap the program's previous record of two, which they achieved in 2025 and 2026. If the Ducks achieve some of the goals they have lined up this season, including a deep postseason run, there could be even more players in the first round. Evan Stewart, Bear Alexander, Koi Perich and others could all work their way into the top of the draft with a strong season in Eugene.
It's unlikely all the Ducks get so many first-rounders, as the early mock drafts tend to differ greatly from what ultimately happens every April. Still, the Ducks appear to be in position for a historic draft next year, only further amplifying the need for better results in the postseason with an important group of returners ready for one last run.
