OU softball adjusts schedule for Arkansas game due to weather forecast
NORMAN — Due to inclement weather in the forecast, No. 1-ranked Oklahoma softball's Friday matchup against No. 6 Arkansas at Love's Field has been moved up to a 5:30 p.m. first pitch, the program announced Thursday. The game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Sooners lost their second consecutive game on Wednesday night, 6-4, to Oklahoma State in Oklahoma City. OU fell to Texas in the series finale game on Sunday in Austin despite winning the series.
All previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the adjusted start time.
Fans who can no longer attend are encouraged to transfer or sell their tickets, or return them to OU through the school's Seat Share program.
The Sooners' baseball team also moved its time up to a 5:30 p.m. first pitch against Missouri from its originally scheduled 6:30 p.m. start due to forecasted inclement weather.
The OU-Razorbacks game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
OSU also moved its game times for baseball against Kansas to 2 p.m. and softball against Arizona to 3 p.m.
