

As of April 8, over 1,000 college basketball players have entered the transfer portal, including seven from Washington State and four from Gonzaga. The portal remains open until April 20, with ongoing roster changes expected for the nine teams in the new Pac-12 Conference for 2026-27.
Apr. 8—By the time college basketball's transfer portal officially opened at 9 p.m. PT on April 6, more than 1,000 players had announced plans to enter, including seven from Washington State, four from Gonzaga and over 30 from the nine teams that will make up the rebuilt Pac-12 Conference in 2026-27.
Players can put their names into the portal until April 20, but roster-building efforts will continue for the next few months as the Zags, Cougars and their new conference opponents reload and reshape their teams.
