Phillies take quite the leap in power rankings behind red-hot Kyle Schwarber

And with this, Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter bumped them up from No. 23 to No. 13 in his latest power rankings piece.

"Following a brutal 10-16 month of April where they were outscored by 31 runs, the Phillies have seemingly rescued their season from the brink with a 7-3 record in their last 10 games. Kyle Schwarber has slugged five home runs already this month, and his 16 homers overall are tied for the MLB lead with Aaron Judge as he has picked up right where he left off last season."

Schwaber has been huge for this club, especially in the month of May. He is tied with Aaron Judge for the most homers across MLB, and the front office's pursuit of him over the winter break has seemingly paid off.

Now, the Phillies will look to keep up this momentum in their series against the Boston Red Sox this week. And after that, they could be tested against the Pittsburgh Pirates over the weekend, where they will likely face Paul Skenes on Sunday in the series finale.
