2026 Cocodona 250: Medical emergency results in runner's death during ultramarathon
Tragic death of a runner during the 2026 Cocodona 250 ultramarathon.
The NFL post-draft free-agent market is heating up as teams seek to fill gaps. Key remaining free agents, like Jauan Jennings, are predicted to sign with teams that need depth and experience.
The NFL draft is over, but the work is not done. Not by a mile. Now it’s the post-draft free-agent market, where teams fill remaining holes for a variety of reasons – veteran depth, prove-it deals. upshot plays, emergency plans. All the things. He’s a reliable, physical receiver who blocks, plays through contact, and fits a team that needs grown-up snaps outside. And Minnesota needs functional targets outside Jefferson and Addison.
Chicago is built to win now and needs stability up front. Decker makes so much sense as a plug-in veteran who shores up protection and keeps the offense hopping.
My bet is he stays unsigned until the legal mess clears. The talent is still there, but the trial story is going to stall his market. The Rams are the type of team that will take the swing on a one-year prove-it deal to keep up with the Joneses.
San Francisco has cap room and a clear interior need, and Zeitler is still a productive player. One-year deal, immediate upgrade, no drama.
Seattle just added Fowler, and that’s huge (check out this write-up from Tuesday). But what if? The champs are trying to repeat, y’all, and Bosa wants a ring-chase landing spot with a rotation that fits.
Also possible: Bears.
Kansas City waited on receiver help in the draft and still needs offensive juice, with Mahomes’ health timeline being an issue. Deebo in Reid’s hands is instant production, and he solves multiple problems.
Dallas is still trying to build a defense – and absent a trade, they need this. While not a splash move, Wagner fits. Older, but functional, smart, and helps stabilize a room (and a squad).
