ST. JOHNS — Annabelle Szumlinski went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in the opening game for the Gladiators of their CAAC Red sweep of St. Johns. Payton Ryan went 3-for-4 with three RBI and McKayla Fletcher drove in three for Fowlerville in Game 2.

Avery Dunneback
Zoey Gruber struck out 12 in the opener and drove in five in the doubleheader while helping the Cougars to a pair of CAAC White wins. Avery Dunneback hit a three-run home run and had two doubles in Game 2 and drove in six on the night with six runs scored, while Taylor Dunneback went 3-for-3 with a double and five RBI for Lansing Catholic (8-0, 4-0).
EATON RAPIDS 16, OLIVET 2 / EATON RAPIDS 12, OLIVET 2
Abi Pratt racked up six hits with a home run and six RBI to lead the Greyhounds to a CAAC White sweep over Olivet. Madaelen Putnam finished with four hits with a double, a triple and four RBI and Taylor Orto added on four hits and five RBI for Eaton Rapids.
BATH 7, DANSVILLE 5 / DANSVILLE 6, BATH 1
Laci Neal struck out 14 while tossing a complete game and drove in a run while helping the Aggies record a Game 2 win and split a CMAC doubleheader against Bath. Maddi Carter drove in two runs in the win for Dansville. Ryker Graf had 12 strikeouts in the circle and homered twice in the Game 1 loss for Dansville.
IONIA 7, PORTLAND 6 / PORTLAND 8, IONIA 2
Lilly Thelen went 7-for-8 with a triple, two home runs and five RBI to help the Raiders split the CAAC White doubleheader with Ionia. Molli Miilu finished with a triple and two RBI and Bella Spitzley picked up the win in the circle for Portland. Allison Shaw picked up a double, a triple and three RBI and Allyson Schmid tacked on four hits and scored two runs for the Bulldogs.
BROOKLYN COLUMBIA CENTRAL 6, LAINGSBURG 3 / BROOKLYN COLUMBIA CENTRAL 3, LAINGSBURG 2
Skyler Stiff went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Wolfpack as they drop a pair of nonleague wins to Brooklyn Columbia Central. Harper Strouse tallied two hits and two RBI and Addison Westfall and Alayna Merrell each tacked on two hits for Laingsburg.
Fowlerville won the first game 12-7 and the second game 14-10 against St. Johns.
Annabelle Szumlinski, Payton Ryan, and McKayla Fletcher were standout players, contributing multiple RBIs.
Lansing Catholic swept Charlotte, winning 12-0 in the first game and 14-1 in the second.

Gunnar Williams hit a grand slam in the sixth inning to open up the lead to help the Raiders notch a pair of CAAC White wins over Ionia. Max Sandborn pitched a complete game shutout in game one, allowing two hits with four strikeouts and tallied two hits in game two and Brody Moore hit a home run and drove in two runs for Portland. Ethan Wenzel and Dawson Leland each picked up a double and Alex Campbell added on two hits for the Bulldogs.
LAINGSBURG 11, POTTERVILLE 1 / LAINGSBURG 20, POTTERVILLE 1
Quinton Garcia went 5-for-9 with five RBI while helping the Wolfpack to a CMAC doubleheader sweep of Potterville. E. Smith added three hits and three RBI in the Game 2 win.
BATH 159, FOWLER 175
Junior Max McCallister and senior Sam Dunckel each shot a round of 39 to lead the Bees in their CMAC win over Fowler. Jacob Staake had a round of 40 for Bath. Fowler junior Wyatt Stuart had a round of 38 to lead Fowler.
FENTON 5, OWOSSO 3
Gabrielle Dalley notched a singles victory for the Trojans in a Flint Metro League defeat to Fenton. Abby Sanchez/Taylor Friend and Claire Schmitz/Leighton Sobak each tallied doubles wins for Owosso.
