On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain will face the match soccer fans are most looking forward to at the moment: the second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich.
Just days away from this great spectacle, we are all uncertain about who will emerge as the finalist, and now a PSG legend has spoken out about what he thinks about it.
After the impressive first leg of the semifinals at the Parc des Princes, where PSG came out victorious with a 5-4 win over Bayern, the former Parisian club midfielder, Safet Susic, was astonished and fascinated by the game.
In an exclusive interview with Le Parisien, Susic stated that he had never witnessed such a crazy match in his life; the intensity with which both teams attacked each other was exceptional.
At the same time, the former player expressed his desire for PSG to win again and put on as striking a match as the previous one.
"The most striking thing is the technical quality of PSG. They are the best team in Europe, in my eyes, because their players have everything: youth, speed, and technique. In the majority of clubs, only two or three players have this quality, but at Paris, the list is so long...," he said.
Susic believes that the Rouge et Bleu maintain a slight advantage in the race to the final, although he thinks there may not be as many goals as in the previous game, he does not see PSG failing to score at least one.
Bayern Munich will not come empty-handed, as they are known for not being easily destabilized, and although PSG has the advantage, anything can happen.
"It will be another spectacular duel. Even if PSG is eliminated, we cannot hold it against them," Susic concluded.
