Brock Bowers is on track for his second 1000-yard season in 2026 with the Las Vegas Raiders, following a strong rookie year and a new offensive setup. He may catch passes from either rookie QB Fernando Mendoza or veteran Kirk Cousins.
There is nothing but sunny skies in the forecast for Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers in 2026. With a new offensive structure in place in Las Vegas and two new quarterbacks the former All Pro looks to get back on track.
Las Vegas drafted Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Bowers will either be catching passes from Mendoza, the 2025 Heisman Trophy winner, or veteran QB Kirk Cousins next season.
Bowers had nearly 1200 yards (1194) receiving as a rookie in 2024 but was limited to only 12 games played in 2025. Bowers recorded 680 REC yards and was on pace to go for 963 yards had he played in all 17 games.
Las Vegas will also have a stronger run game in 2026. An improved offensive line will give Ashton Jeanty the potential to average over four yards per carry right out of the gates while 6-foot-1 rookie Mike Washington Jr. will offer the Raiders a sizable secondary running back.
The Raiders did not add a volume wide receiver in free agency. Las Vegas will look to Tre Tucker to improve upon his 680 REC yards from last season in 2026 as the team's primary outside receiver. Malik Benson, the Raiders' sixth-round draft pick (No. 195 overall), will compete with Jalen Nailor to be the WR2 in Las Vegas.
The path is clear for Bowers to be the Raiders' go-to option in the passing game once again next season. His great hands, verticality and ability to accumulate yards after the catch prime him to go for 1,000 yards receiving again in 2026. With at least 100 receptions on 140 targets, he figures to exceed 1,000 yards, given his 10.65 yards per reception for his career.
