Despite being located in the same city, the Los Angeles Rams were not rooting for the Los Angeles Kings in the Western Conference First Round. Instead, the Rams were cheering on the Kingsā opponent, the Colorado Avalanche.
The Rams shared a video of general manager Les Snead calling Miami wide receiver CJ DanielsĀ to inform him the franchise would be drafting him with theĀ No. 197 overall pick in the sixth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday.
In the video, Snead and another Rams staff member were spotted repping Avalanche jerseys.

At the time, the Avalanche held a 3-0 series lead over the Kings in the first round of the playoffs. Los Angeles still had another game against Colorado on Sunday and would have to win in order to keep their season alive.

When the Lakers played the Nuggets in the Western Conference First Round in 2024, the Rams did not wish the Lakers good luck. But when the Kings played the Edmonton Oilers in the first round last season, the Rams sent their good luck wishes to the Kings.
