Brandon Ingram will miss Game 7 against the Cavaliers due to right heel inflammation. The Raptors coach confirmed his absence shortly before the game, with the series tied 3-3.
CLEVELAND — Toronto Raptors All-Star forward Brandon Ingram will be sidelined during a do-or-die Game 7 against the Cavaliers on Sunday, May 3, at Rocket Arena.
During pregame media availability, Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said Ingram will not face the Cavs with the best-of-seven first-round NBA playoff series tied 3-3. The reason is right heel inflammation.
Ingram sat out the second half of the Raptors' loss in Game 5 because of the heel issue, which also, at times, interfered with his 2025-26 regular season. He was also inactive for Game 6, which the Raptors won to force Game 7.
The Raptors initially listed Ingram as questionable to face the Cavs in Game 7, but they downgraded him to doubtful early on the afternoon of May 3. Then Rajakovic ruled out Ingram less than two hours before the scheduled 7:30 p.m. tipoff for Game 7.
