The Baltimore Ravens have failed to upgrade key roster positions for Lamar Jackson ahead of the 2026 season, particularly at center. Despite signing Trey Hendrickson on defense, the offensive line remains a concern for the team's Super Bowl aspirations.

The Baltimore Ravens have huge pressure in 2026 to rebound from a disastrous 2025 season, and the franchise hasn't exactly done its best to improve the roster.
Yes, Trey Hendrickson was signed on defense, but on offense? Baltimore might have dropped the ball.
As it stands, Lamar Jackson doesn't have a dependable center, and for a team that has Super Bowl aspirations, that's a head-scratcher.
For ESPN's Aaron Schatz, the Ravens' center position is in flux.
“The Ravens were unable to retain Tyler Linderbaum, and now have a major hole at the center position,” Schatz wrote. “Corey Bullock, a 2024 UDFA, has played a grand total of 13 offensive snaps during the regular season. Jovaughn Gwyn has played 11 snaps in three seasons with Atlanta.
“The alternative might be to move over a guard such as Andrew Vorhees."

Personally, I find it hard to believe that Baltimore, given the pressure on the franchise to win a Super Bowl in 2026, would be content heading into Week 1 with the center position as it is currently constructed.
Of course, inside the building, the Ravens could be high on Bullock or Gwyn, but to go into battle with two players who, according to Schatz, have played a combined 24 snaps last season, doesn't sit right with me.
Is there a free agent out there who can be an instant upgrade? Schatz mentioned Vorhees, but outside of that? Lamar might have to be content with having an inexperienced center in 2026.
The Ravens have not made significant moves to address the center position, leaving Lamar Jackson without a dependable option as the 2026 season approaches.
Failing to improve the offensive line, especially at center, could jeopardize the Ravens' Super Bowl aspirations by limiting Lamar Jackson's effectiveness.
The Ravens signed Trey Hendrickson to bolster their defense, but this move does not address the critical needs on the offensive line.
