Ravens' Roger Rosengarten is ready to raise the standard in 2026

Baltimore Ravens right tackle Roger Rosengarten is ready to deploy and propel the pass protection potential under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle. Doyle and Rosengarten know that keeping starting quarterback Lamar Jackson upright will be vital in 2026. Thus, the addition of new offensive guard Vega Ioane and the return of tackle Ronnie Stanley should give the franchise room to be optimistic.

Ravens quarterbacks were sacked 45 times in total during the 2025 NFL season. Pass protection schemes were also an area of concern that went unaddressed by former offensive coordinator Todd Monken, who now serves as head coach of the Cleveland Browns. Monken's negligence led to other calamities, a breach that kept getting Jackson hit by defenders over the last few seasons. Jackson's lingering hamstring injury, which forced him to miss consecutive games in 2025, may partially explain the team's backsliding as the season progressed.

Hopefully, the franchise can make some progress in 2026. Rosengarten blossomed relatively quickly in his rookie campaign in the 2023-24 NFL season, where he was forced to battle higher-tier pass rushers like linebacker , Cleveland Browns defensive end , defensive end , and plenty of others.
