Real Madrid academy product wanted by clubs in Spain, England, Germany and Italy – Romano
Earlier this week, reports emerged claiming that Real Madrid have decided to part ways with young striker Gonzalo Garcia in the summer.
The 22-year-old academy product was promoted to the first team this season after excelling at the FIFA Club World Cup last summer.
However, minutes have been hard to come by for the Spaniard, leading the club to decide that offloading him may be best for his development.
As such, they intend to sell him while retaining control over his future – like they have done with various young talents like Nico Paz, Victor Munoz, Jacobo Ramon, and others.
Building on that, Fabrizio Romano reports that there is indeed a concrete chance that Gonzalo Garcia will leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

The Italian transfer expert goes on to add that there are a lot of clubs across Europe wanting to secure the young centre-forward before next season.
Cesc Fabregas’ Como 1907, who signed Nico and Ramon from Real Madrid in the past, were interested in Gonzalo during the January transfer window.
They could revisit their interest in him again in the summer, while several other teams in Italy are also chasing him.
Furthermore, Romano adds that Gonzalo is also being tracked by many clubs in Spain, England, Germany, as well as Portugal, with a player of his age and profile expected to be in high demand.
The final decision will, therefore, fall on the player and his entourage, and what they choose as his next destination. As things stand, an exit from Real Madrid looks pretty much a given.
