A midfield mainstay

While he is appreciated by the coaching staff and has featured regularly this season, making 44 appearances, his position is not entirely untouchable if the club decide to make major investments in midfield.

From the player’s side, there is no indication of unrest. In fact, sources close to Tchouameni suggest he is content in Madrid and fully focused on his role within the team.

At 26, he is entering his prime years and remains an important option in the squad.

Real Madrid reportedly value him at over £70 million, and any potential departure would only be considered under the right conditions, particularly if it aligns with the club’s strategy.

There is also a possible chain reaction in play, that is, if Real Madrid accelerate their interest in Rodri, it could indirectly open the door for Manchester United to step up their pursuit of Tchouameni.
