Real Madrid firmly believe squad is far better than Ancelotti, Alonso and Arbeloa have extracted
Real Madrid have grossly underperformed over the past two seasons when compared to what is expected of a team with the quality that they possess.
After all, they have some of the best players in the world across all departments on the field.
From Thibaut Courtois in goal to Trent Alexander-Arnold in defence, Arda Guler and Jude Bellingham in midfield and Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo and Kylian Mbappe in attack, there is simply no excuse for the team not to win one trophy in two years.
The internal feeling
As reported by El Mundo in a recent report, the administration of Real Madrid are convinced that recent coaches have not been able to bring the best out of the current squad.
They feel that not only Alvaro Arbeloa and Xabi Alonso, but even Carlo Ancelotti was unable to extract the best of the team and make them produce results that they are capable of.
Their interpretation is that the squad is much better than how it has been utilised by the last three coaches.

However, there is a consensus that the managerâs connection with the dressing room plays as important a role and that the team has failed on that front.
As it stands, they do not consider a departure for any of the three big names in the dressing room and hope to find a manager who can bring the best out of the side using his experience.
Part of the problem, however, is that the dressing room has a history of being hostile to controlling managers and that they are insisting on Arbeloaâs continuity for the freedom he hands them.
