Real Madrid predicted lineup and team news vs Bayern Munich
Real Madrid travels to the Allianz Arena as they face Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final second leg on Wednesday.
Alvaro Arbeloaâs men lost the first leg in their home ground and now need to overcome a 1-goal deficit to book a spot in the semi-final against PSG.
Real Madrid failed to win in their last three matches. Their recent poor run started with a 2-1 loss to Mallorca, followed by a 2-1 home defeat against Bayern in the Champions League, and most recently, a 1-1 draw with Girona that seriously dented their La Liga title chances. That result has left them nine points behind leaders Barcelona.
The team continues to deal with injury and suspension problems. Aurélien Tchouaméni is ruled out after accumulating too many bookings in the first leg and is suspended for this match.
In attack, Madrid also misses Rodrygo, who remains out with a serious cruciate ligament injury.
On a brighter note, Kylian Mbappé is fit to start after shaking off a facial injury he picked up against Girona.
Andriy Lunin will once again start in goal as Thibaut Courtois is still recovering from a thigh strain.
Meanwhile, Alvaro Arbeloa must be careful with Jude Bellingham, VinĂcius JĂșnior, and Eduardo Camavinga, as all three are one booking away from suspension â a situation that could affect Madrid if they advance to the next round.
