This suggests Real Madrid are onboard with the idea of someone managing the team with an iron fist and a strong grip in the dressing room, especially after their poor experience with Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa.
Alonso was too defiant and it cost him his hold over the dressing room, while Arbeloa is often seen as someone who tries to cozy up to the big players. Both approaches haven’t suited Real Madrid at all.
Now, the Spanish giants are open to hiring someone like Allegri, who may not be the most tactically adept coaches in Europe, but his strong hold over the dressing room can potentially solve a lot of problems at the Bernabeu.
