After losing eight of their first ten games to start the season, the Boston Red Sox have stopped the bleeding, going 7-5 over their last 12 games.
However, there are still plenty of reasons to be concerned about the Red Sox. They're last in homers, sixth in errors and several of their best players are struggling, from Roman Anthony and Jarren Duran to Garrett Crochet and Trevor Story.
On Monday, WEEI radio announcer Will Flemming joined "The Greg Hill Show" to discuss Boston's alarming start.
"It just is not going the way that it needed to go to start this season," Flemming said. "And I think the frustrating thing, Greg, is that a lot of the things that all of us worried about going into the season are coming true. When you did hit home runs and you don't really slug, it's really hard to win games... It's a really tough way to go."
The main concerns include being last in home runs, sixth in errors, and several key players struggling.

Lack of power has been an issue for the Red Sox dating back to last season. They ranked 27th in home runs after trading Rafael Devers and are 30th in homers this year.
While Boston's lineup has underperformed, so has its starting rotation, especially Garrett Crochet.
"Guys need to be better than they've been. Period, full stop. And unfortunately, that does start with Garrett Crochet," Flemming added. "That's the thing that worries me the most about what's going on right now, is that maybe, after you pushed him to an innings limit last year, maybe there's just a little bit of a regression this year."
Crochet led the American League in innings last year with 205 1/3, by far the most of his career. That type of increased workload often leads to injuries or underperformance the following year, which may explain Crochet's uncharacteristic start.
Flemming also agreed with Ken Rosenthal, Jared Carrabis and others who think the Red Sox are putting too much pressure on Roman Anthony to carry the lineup in his first full season while he's still figuring things out.
"There are a lot of questions that are not yet answered for this club, and it's gotta start very soon, or we're gonna have some bigger conversations," Flemming added.
