Ford scored a run and drew one of the Red Wings’ two walks. Phillip Glasser added the other hit on a soft infield single but was later caught stealing by Ben Rortvedt.
The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Rochester Red Wings.

Syracuse starter Jack Weisenburger took the loss, charged with all three runs over his outing. Joey Gerber and Luke Jackson combined for scoreless relief after the fourth.
