However, there might be some animosity sprinkled in there now due to the latest scuffle between the Cavs and Raptors. Barrett was at the center of it all alongside Harden, which could fuel the Raptors even more when they return for their final home game of the series.
It has not been an easy series for either team. They frustrate each other with their performances on the court, and at the same time, there are some mind games at play there, too. Barrett himself knows this, which is why he took an exception with Harden in Game 5.
"I take everything as disrespect. Don't walk over to our bench and pick the ball up. James Harden is a guy that I have tremendous respect for…but who cares right now," Barrett said after Game 5 about his scuffle with Harden.
Barrett would love to have another opportunity to beat the Cavaliers, especially given how well he played in Game 5. It will be a fun Game 6 to look forward to because the Raptors are ready to thrive in a do-or-die environment.
