With results going terribly, another manager under pressure, and the whole project seeming to be falling apart, Chelsea fans are desperately looking around for some positives.
Well, one thing thatās been bringing smiles to faces is the sight of Levi Colwill, who has been out all season injured, running around on the grass and starting to integrate into team training.
Today Liam Rosenior was asked in his press conference (not for the first time) if we would see the defender play for the first team before the end of the season.
āIām hoping so [he will return before end of season],ā Rosenior replied.
āHeās an outstanding player and a leader. Levi will play some minutes for the U21s tomorrow.ā
Colwill ready to take major step forward in rehab
Well, that really is a step up. Playing for the Under-21s means heās probably 2 or 3 weeks away from being ready for some first team minutes. Heās been in first team training in some capacity for over a month now, so it all lines up.
Weāre now very confident weāll see Levi before the season is out ā he may even be fit to start in the last couple of games of the season, all being well.

Rosenior also gave a solid update on two of the injured players weāre hoping to get back this weekend ā Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah.
