Rumor Emerges on Wyatt Sicks Expected Landing Spot Following WWE Release
The Wyatt Sicks’ next destination has become a topic of conversation within TNA, but the prevailing belief inside the Anthem-owned company may not match where the faction actually ends up.
Speaking on Fightful’s The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp addressed the speculation surrounding the released WWE group and pushed back on the assumption gaining traction in TNA circles.
“People I talk to in TNA seem to think that Wyatt Sicks would end up in AEW,” Sapp said. “They’re not going to AEW. I think they actually end up doing indie stuff together, TNA, MLW, and that.”

The Wyatt Sicks — composed of Uncle Howdy/Bo Dallas, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross — were among the 25 talents released by WWE on April 24 as part of the post-WrestleMania 42 roster cuts. The faction had been active on WWE television since the summer of 2024, finishing up their feud with the MFTs on the go-home episode of SmackDown before WrestleMania 42 in what turned out to be their final WWE appearances.
If what Sapp has been hearing proves accurate, the Wyatt Sicks would carve out a path similar to that of other released talent who have opted to work across the independent circuit while making appearances for promotions like TNA and MLW, rather than committing to a single major company.
Wyatt Sicks is rumored to pursue indie wrestling opportunities and may work with TNA and MLW.
Speculation suggests that insiders in TNA believe Wyatt Sicks will not join AEW, contrary to earlier assumptions.
Sean Ross Sapp indicated that Wyatt Sicks is likely to focus on indie wrestling rather than joining AEW.

Whether the group stays together as a unit or pursues individual opportunities remains to be seen. Should they go to a place like TNA with a built-in relationship with WWE, it could be a path back to WWE should the two sides work out an agreement.
